Monthly Clinics

To support the equestrian arts, and to help members expand their horsemanship skills, CWDS sponsors monthly clinics. Horses and riders attending CWDS monthly clinics learn the standard movements of each level of dressage from an instructor and judge with extensive show experience.

CWDS members may participate in our monthly clinic program with Mike Osinski. Mike is a USEF “R” judge and USDF gold medalist from Forest Park Equestrian Center in Olympia, Washington. He has many dressage students who have competed successfully at both the regional and national levels. In our club alone, there are several USDF bronze and silver medalists, and one gold medalist. This is quite an accomplishment for such a small club and a testimony to Mike’s abilities.

He also has an extensive background in jumping and combined training and is able to bring that experience to his dressage lessons. Several members of our club who ride with Mike are also successful competitors on the hunter/jumper “A” circuit.

Entry forms for the clinics are sent via email to CWDS members; non-member spectators are also welcome. Please contact Steve Hixson, if you’d like more information and/or directions to our next clinic location.
